Battery operated light duty carts for components handling on good floor
For assembly operations, SmartCart can be customized with a load handling carrier or a scissor lift to meet the customer’s specific needs. SmartCart can tow loads from 60 pounds to 6,000 pounds (based on a trailer friction factor of 2%). SmartCart also includes options for a single or dual roller conveyor AGC, which is useful for delivering pallets (as large as 48â€) to and from roller conveyor systems. In addition, the counterbalanced fork SmartCart is perfect for picking up and dropping off pallets from conveyors.
The Smart T-Car is a high-speed transfer vehicle that can move up to four pallets simultaneously. Smart T-Cars are a type of Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) that follows rails to move around a warehouse or manufacturing center. Our standard design uses modular components and is shop wired for immediate operation.
A single Smart T-Car can pick and drop to numerous stations automatically. The standard designs handles 40 to 60 inch pallet sizes at a transfer height of 24 inches and load capacities of 2,500 and 5,000 pounds. Higher load capacities are also available.
Smart T-Car features include:
- Onboard SLC 5/03 PLC to control local functions such as conveyor controls, positioning, speed, and communications to the Smart T-Car System Controller.
- An overhead bus system provides 480VAC power to the Smart T-Car's variable speed drive and control panel.
- A geometric system is used to maintain an accurate position for the Smart T-Car.
- The control scheme provides smooth acceleration and deceleration, minimizes transfer time and increases system throughput.
- Communication is accomplished by the use of speed spectrum radio modems.
This communication link provides a Data Highway connection from the system controller to each Smart T-Car.
- Bumpers at each end of the Smart T-Car are hardwired to the motor control and will brake the car if an object contacts the bumper. An optional ultrasonic detector can be provided in high-traffic applications.
